Flo-Cast is a unique development in monofilament technology. The first line to be introduced with a hollow centre core and
grooved surface, so it casts longer, floats higher and is resistant to twisting and kinking.
ANTI TWIST MICRO GROOVE SYSTEM
The six microgrooves reduce any tendency for the line to twist ensuring it stays straight in line with its original extruded profile. This alone is a remarkable development.
It is generally recommended that Flo-Cast is used only when the general water temperature is above 10 degrees celsius. Due to the method of construction, high abrasion, particularly in cold conditions, can cause splitting in the line and while this does not affect the line’s performance it can be unsightly. If this does happen the section can be simply removed.
